A Message from Our Elders...
It is our goal as a church to follow Jesus Christ faithfully, according to the teachings passed on to us through his apostles in the Bible’s New Testament. 3 goals guide our lives in Christ:
We seek to WORSHIP the Lord....
...in daily, personal devotion to God...
...together as a community of God’s people...
...and in our unity as the body of Christ.
We seek to GROW...
...in knowledge of God...
...in obedience to God...
...and in fellowship with one another.
We seek to SERVE...
...by helping one another...
...by helping the people of our community...
...and by sharing the good news of Jesus throughout the world.
WORSHIP - GROW - SERVE
And in all things, we seek to bind these goals together with the love of God at work in our lives.
Our focus is Jesus Christ.
Our goal is to be like Him.
Our response is to proclaim Him.
Our desire is to serve Him.
As His children, we love and serve one another.
“Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture...” -- Psalm 95:6-7
“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” -- 2 Peter 3:18
“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.” -- 1 Peter 4:10
